I am so excited! A local well-known Portland alternative pin-up contacted me through Model Mayhem and she is interested in working with me! I am soooo jazzed! I think we are gonna shoot sometime in August. I can't wait to work with her!

I'll be uploading some new images soon. Last Saturday night, I got the chance to roam around downtown Portland and snap some pics of some really unique neon signs. What I am going to do with this compilation is surprise.

and this time I want to show my stuff at some of the local coffee houses here in Portland in the next four months.
This time I want to do The Seven Deadly Sins according to Mahatmah Ghandi where defined the sins as:

1. Wealth without work.
2. Pleasure without conscience.
3. Knowledge without character.
4. Commerce without morality.
5. Science without humilty.
6. Worship without sacrifice.
7. Politics without principle.

I will be presenting these sins in a narrative of three photos each and this is what I would like to do.

Sin #1: The ideal model or models could be lazy stereotypical trailer park/welfare types who don't work and who go into a store, buy a lotto ticket and win the big jackpot. Once they have the money they spend it on really stupid stuff like gold encrusted toilets seats and sequined Elvis jumpsuits.

Sin #2: This one might be a little risque' but I think it would send a message. Models could be a couple. A husband and wife/boyfriend and girlfriend are getting ready to go out for a night on the town. They walk into a club and meet other couples (girlfriend/wife looks uneasy, while husband/boyfriend has no problem). It escalates into a swapping sex partners with the wife/girlfriend being used while the boyfriend/husband is not caring at all

Sin #3: This could be a really creepy concept, so bear with me. This could be at least three to four models at an Ivy league school. When you grow up, you are encouraged to be your own individual. In this set we could could have the group waking up at the same time, wearing the same clothes and all learning the same thing the professor teaches without question. And at the same time, they are look very similar to each other.

Sin #4: This particular sin could take place in a boardroom of a huge generic corporation, like ENRON (or you can help me with a name for Generic Corporation) maybe? We see a group of suits in the boardroom with huge dark clouds in the sky as they discuss their plans to make more money, while the working stiffs down below are working their fingers to the bone and they look dirty and starved to death while the suits up above have no care in the world.

Sin #5: This one could open a Pandora's box of morality and it could be ripped from today's headlines. I was thinking about the doctors who let the Octomom have all eight of those kids. Maybe the doctors (and the mother) want to defy God by having more than one child. So instead of praising God for the miracle of life, they give God the finger by praising Science instead.

Sin #6: Well this one is going to be easy! I'm thinking about having my model (male or female or couple) be a rich televangelist like Jim and Tammy Bakker back in the 80's. You see them in the pulpit preaching about how everyone should be saved. Then after that, we see the congregation passing the plate, and then we see the pastor either enjoying that money on drugs, cars, and prostitutes, or the televangelist couple buying designer clothes and huge houses all while professing to love God.

Sin #7: If I could find a model that looks like Sarah Palin for this one, that would be fucking awesome! First we would show her as a beauty queen carrying her Bible, and then we see her as a newscaster still with her Bible in hand, and then finally in 2012 we see her as President where once she is in office, she proclaims herself Empress for life of the United States of America, The Constitution is now changed to the 10 Commandments and they are now US law. In other words, she pushes her beliefs on everyone else whether they like it or not.

What the models will get is a CD of images from the shoot and credit in the photos that I take for this art show. All I ask is that they be over the age of 18 and agree to sign a consent form. If you want to be a part of this project, let me know.

but better for you. With art, you don't go through withdrawals and you don't have to go to rehab. Also with art, you're not doing anything illegal (except if you're a tagger of course, then that is a different story). Just my random thought for the evening! Night everybody!

And it will be showing at PCC Sylvania campus on June 9th! Reception will be from 5-7 p.m. that day!
